Q:  

A student of mine is interested in a survey called the Longitudinal Survey of Immigrants to Canada. Can you help her with access?

A:  

Statistics Canada treats this as restricted data. Thus, there is no public use release of the Longitudinal Survey of Immigrants to Canada.

The student may find what she needs in published tables found under "Related Publications" and/or "Analytical Studies."

If the student really wants to access the data, here are the locations of the Canadian Restricted Data Centers (RDCs):

US-based researchers are able to use these centers, but the suggested process is to pick an RDC and then start talking to the administrator to make sure that they will accept you:
