You can explore the public use data (both NELS and B&B) through DAS Online:

Select the survey you want to explore in the Box above "Accessing the DAS to Create Tables".

You'll be prompted for a data use agreement and then taken to the software application.

The documentation for Baccalaureate and Beyond is not so readily available. You can access a variable list via the DAS site and examine the variables one by one.

I am exploring further options for B&B.
